Let’s illuminate The 606 together! Saturday, January 7, we invite you to The 606’s 2nd Annual Walk with Light! Gather your friends, family, block club, school group, customers or co-workers to walk the Bloomingdale Trail to Park 567 starting at 4:00 p.m. where there will be fire pits, warm refreshments, s’mores, music and light spectacles. To make it special, we challenge you to find a way to bring light with you. No open flames, but feel free to bedeck yourself with a string of lights, glow sticks, carry an LED candle or any other creative way to shine. For more information visit The606.org.

4-4:30 PM—We’ll kick off at Spaulding Avenue and walk along the trail to Park 567 at Milwaukee/Leavitt. Join us at any point along the way!

4:15-4:30—Turning Sky unveiling and short remarks.

4-5:30 PM—Activities at Milwaukee/Leavitt.

Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail will conduct a winter clothing drive. Drop off your donations at the following access points: Spaulding Avenue, Humboldt Boulevard, Park 567 at Milwaukee/Leavitt, Churchill Field Playlot Park.

4-4:30 PM—Caminé de la avenida Spaulding a el parque 567 en Milwaukee/Leavitt.

4:15-4:30—Se desvelará instalación artística Turning Sky, creado por Luftwerk.

5-6:30 PM—Actividades en el parque 567.
